World Children’s Day is dedicated to raising awareness about children’s rights and improving their welfare. It is celebrated annually on November 20 as a remembrance of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child by the UN General Assembly in 1959. This year’s commemoration theme is ‘for every child, every right.’
